This is a portrait of a Blackfoot Skin-walker Shaman wearing a wolf hide.
The star below the face represents the union of the upward and downward facing triangles, representing the masculine and feminine respectively.
I textured the canvas using gesso before painting. This is the center piece of a series of three portraits made using only palette knives.
