I made this painting back when I was exploring surrealism and was trying to convert a few surreal sketches I made on the last pages of various college notebooks into paintings.

This painting depicts an artist being bombarded with the urge to create. It shows the contrast between an external world which is somewhat monotonous, and an internal world which is bursting with color and impulse. This piece was intended as an addition to another painting I made titled 'Daydream', which depicts a Cartesian theatre setting.
